Meet the Providers
Dr. Perez is a Utah native who earned his Doctor of Optometry from Salus University. He completed extensive training at the VA hospital in Salisbury, NC, managing complex ocular cases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and vascular pathology. He furthered his education with externships focused on the anterior segment of the eye, encompassing cataracts, shingles, dry eye, keratoconus, LASIK, and other refractive surgeries and their complications. He has a passion for dry eye, staying current on the latest research and treatment modalities, especially given its prevalence in drier climates.
Recognizing the need for medical eye care in non-traditional settings, Dr. Perez has invested in the most advanced technology, allowing for telehealth eye exams.
Dr. O'Bryan has provided therapeutic optometric services at The Spec Shoppe, Inc. in Maryville since 2011. He specializes in family eye care, contact lenses, co-management, and diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases.
He and his wife, Denise, have two girls, and they enjoy all summer water activities.
