Kellan's dedication to The Spec Shoppe, Inc. began in high school, leading him to a full-time position in 2010. With over a decade of experience, he became a co-owner in 2020 and now manages the Maryville office, bringing a wealth of expertise. He's passionate about serving the community and providing exceptional eye care. Kellan resides in Guilford with his wife, Madison, and their sons.
Jeff's dedication to the community extends beyond vision care. Since 1983, he's been a vital part of The Spec Shoppe, Inc., purchasing the Maryville location in 1998 and expanding to Stanberry in 2016. In addition to his commitment to service, Jeff also serves as the Missouri District 1 State Representative. He lives near Conception with his wife, Joan, and enjoys time with his five sons and five grandsons, as well as farming. Visit Jeff at the Maryville office on Saturday mornings.
Sara joined The Spec Shoppe, Inc. in February 2020, bringing her passion for helping clients find the perfect frames. She believes everyone deserves to feel confident in their eyewear. Sara resides in Guilford with her husband, and enjoys spending time with her two children and three grandchildren, as well as gardening. Let Sara assist you in selecting your ideal frames at the Maryville office on Mondays and Thursdays.
Makenzie Smith joined The Spec Shoppe team in August 2026. A Maryville native with a strong background in the healthcare system, Makenzie brings exceptional patient care, warmth, and clinical expertise to our practice. Friendly and outgoing, she assists with patient pre-testing, coordinates exam workflows alongside our doctors and telehealth team, and ensures every visit is smooth, efficient, and comfortable.
Outside of work, Makenzie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, exploring local restaurants, and creating lasting memories with the people she loves. She is thrilled to be serving her home community and looks forward to taking great care of all our patients!
